How boosting works
Everything you need to know about ViK Lite server boosts — what you get, how ranking works, and the rules every server on our list must follow.
What is a boost?
A boost is a paid promotion that places your Counter-Strike 1.6 server at the top of the ViK Lite public list for a chosen duration. Boosted servers receive higher visibility, more direct connections, and more organic players joining daily.
Every boost is activated instantly after a successful PayPal payment. No registration required — just submit your server, pay, and go live.

Ranking order
Servers are ordered on the homepage by boost tier and remaining time. Higher tiers always rank above lower tiers:
- Diamond → Gold → Silver → Bronze (subscription tiers)
- Prime → Turbo → Quick (one-time tiers)
- Unboosted servers below all boosted entries
When multiple servers share the same tier, the one purchased most recently is placed on top. Buying a new boost immediately re-ranks your server.
Server requirements & rules
- Server must be a legitimate Counter-Strike 1.6 GoldSrc server (Steam or non-Steam).
- Server must be reachable from the public internet on the submitted IP and port.
- No fake player bots designed to mislead the listing. Real bots for gameplay are allowed.
- No illegal, hateful, or NSFW content in the server name, MOTD, or map rotation.
- No impersonation of other server brands or ViK Lite itself.
- ViK Lite reserves the right to remove any server that violates these rules without refund.
Payments & refunds
All payments are processed through PayPal. We do not store any card data on our servers. Prices are shown in EUR and include any applicable processing fees.
Since boosts are digital services activated immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable. Refunds are considered case-by-case if the boost failed to activate due to a technical error on our side. Contact support@vikserverhub.com within 24 hours.
